Certifications, Equipment & Calibration
Professional radon measurement depends on more than a device. Credentials, device approval, calibration, performance testing, QA/QC and recordkeeping all matter.
Iowa-regulated measurement.
RadonStead performs compensated radon measurement only while the required Iowa measurement certification is active. The operating plan also includes national professional credentialing through NRPP.

- Required continuing education
- Timely Iowa test-data reporting
- Five-year testing record retention
Professional continuous radon monitors.
The launch equipment plan uses two Airthings Corentium Pro CRMs, with additional monitors added only as utilization supports them.
- Approved professional CRM model verified before purchase/use
- Annual proof of calibration for the Corentium Pro under current NRPP device listing
- Device performance testing at the listed interval
- Security cables, tamper seals, stands and cases
- Redundant monitor capacity to reduce downtime risk
Every result should be traceable.
RadonStead's internal workflow ties each test to the customer, property, device, placement time, retrieval time, conditions, notes and report.

Every test is associated with the exact monitor used.
Calibration
Calibration documentation is retained and monitored by due date.
